本文通过对小浪底库区历史地震资料，根据小浪底水库区域地质构造背景，结合库区地震时、空、强分布特点，综合小震定量描述方法和数理统计法对库区的震级-频度关系b值、年平均发生率、平均震级变化趋势和能量释放的时间分布等进行新的统计分析，用以作为水库区域地震活动特征的量化表达参数，总结出1970年以来库区地震活动变化的规律特征。

Based on the historical seismic data, geological structure backgroundand the distribution characteristics of seismic time, space and intensity of Xiaolangdireservoir area, the paper carried out a new statistical analysis onthe mag?nitude- frequency relationship b value, the average incidence rate, the average magnitude changing trendand the time distribution of energy releasein the reservoir area by using the quantitative description method of small earthquakes and mathematical statistic method. They are used as the quantitative parameters of seismic activity characteristics in the res?ervoir area. The changing laws and characteristics of seismic activity in the reservoir since 1970 was also summarized.
