The paper introduces the basic principle and applied scopes for the sand-pouring method,researches the selection for the measured sand and calibration,and points out the technical points for the test of roadbed compaction with the sand-pouring method from the selected points, tested frequency,excavation of trial pits,and measurement of water content,so as to improve the accuracy of the test result.
