陶渊明是中国古代杰出文学家，他的诗文在唐前较为寂寞，未引起人们的重视。主要原因在于他的诗文思想内容和艺术风格不合于时，有悖于南朝的美学风尚，陶渊明的特殊经历也使他的诗文少有知音，名微誉寡也是其诗文被忽视的重要因素。
