生态女性主义者在论述自己的环保立场和解放思想时经常运用的等式是:自然-女性,这个等式的背后隐藏了二元分立的思维方式。西方有些学者自20世纪70年代以来在中国道家或者道教思想中找到了实现人与自然和解的思想资源,并准备吸取道家智慧,反抗男权中心主义及其相应的制度安排。然而,自然-女性的隐喻及其推论“人类对自然的压迫、男性对女性的支配”存在巨大的逻辑困境,如不消解这一困境,其追求的自然和女性的双重解放将难以如愿。以生态自我为核心的普鲁姆德的批判的生态女性主义实现了对隐喻思维和二元思维的超越,从而重构了生态女性主义。

When bringing forward claims about environmentalism and liberation, ecological feminists often adopt the equation:nature-female, which actually entails an approach of dualism.Ever since 1970s, western scholars have gradually discovered some academic resources concerning the reconciliation between human and nature in Taoism, which turns out to be a favorable standpoint to fight against the male-centrism and the related system.However, the metaphor of“nature-female”, as well as its inference, namely the domination of human over nature, male over female, leaves people great difficulty to interpret.It is im-possible for us to achieve this dual-liberation of both“nature-female” once this predicament is not totally resolved.Val Plum-wood reconstructed ecological feminism by her critical ecofeminism with the core idea of“ecological-self”, which goes beyond the thinking of metaphor and dualism.
