Henoch-Schonlein purpura ( HSP ) is a common childhood disease , the pathogenesis is still controversial , but in recent years , many research suggests that the immune system function is the main pathogenesis , interleukin 8 ( IL-8) is the potent chemotactic agents for neutrophils , it plays an important role in immune response , and participate in inflammation and tissue damage .And in this paper , we are to give a review on the IL-8 and the relationship between Henoch -Schonlein purpura .
