我国历年编写的大学英语教材是与当时的政治、经济、文化背景息息相关的，且至今仍未有专门针对民族地区生源的大学英语教材。文章以西藏大学为例提出建设该类教材的必要性，编写原则应当以有意义接受学习论为教材编写的指导思想，遵循区域性经济发展对人才的需求，突出实用性和民族文化特色。

The principle of compiling college English textbooks in China over the years has been mainly centering upon the political,economic and cultural backgrounds,and there is no minority concentrated region-centered English textbooks for college students. The article puts forward that it is necessary to compile such kind of textbooks for college students in minority concentrated region on the basis of Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Reception Learning. What’s more,practicality and minority culture are very much important in this kind of textbook.
