Hydraulic flow priority valve can provide accurate flow control for system of large load change, its perfor-mance will affect the control precision and reliability of the hydraulic system. Based on the hydraulic flow priority valve with a deep understanding of the structure and working principle, according to the fault characteristics of ap-peared in the process of actual use, AMESim simulation software is used to establish the corresponding simulation model. The simulation results compared with fault testing curve, verified the simulation model is correct. Finally, op-timization design of the hydraulic flow priority valve is fulfilled through the parameter adjustment. The optimization design can provide beneficial help for hydraulic flow priority valve improvement.
