同带泵浦结构是使激光器单根光纤达到输出功率极限的实现方法之一。文章针对同带泵浦结构激光器开展了研究,首先通过建立简化模型进行数值模拟,确定了同带泵浦结构激光器的最佳泵浦波长应位于1010~1030 nm;然后研制了高效率1018 nm 光纤并进行了激光性能测试和对比分析。结果表明,通过共掺使 Yb3+离子发射次峰蓝移,能促进1018 nm 激光的输出;增大芯包比有助于提高1018 nm 输出激光效率。

Tandem pumping structure is one of the approaches to enable every single fiber of a laser to reach the maximum out-put power limit.This paper carries out the research work on tandem pumping-structured lasers.It first establishes a simplified model for numerical simulation,determining that the optimal pumping wavelength of such lasers should be in the range of 1 010~ 1 030 nm.Then,it develops a highly efficient 1 018 nm fiber,conducts laser performance tests and carries out compar-isons,analysis and discussions.The results show that co-doping causes sub-peak of the Yb3 + ionic emission blue shift,promo-ting the output of the 1 018 nm laser and that increasing the core/cladding ratio is conducive to improving the 1 018 nm laser output efficiency.
