Background Novel oncongene DJ-1 is an important discovery in the field of cell biology and pathophysiology.In recent decades,an increasing number of studies focus on revealing the relationship between D J-1 and organ protection and exploring its mechanism.Objective To review the relationship between DJ-1 and organ protection as well as the mechanism.Content Briefly introduce the characteristic and function of DJ-1 and review its role in the pathological process of some diseases in nerve,cardiac and other important organs.Trend D J-1 plays a key role in organ protection via antioxidation,however further studies are needed in its action mechanism.
