The synthesis and application of the three membered ring structure has get much attentions in recent years. The recent progress in research of chiral sulfur ylides in asymmetric cyclopropanation, propylene oxide, aziridine is summarized. The research direction of asymmetric synthesis of chiral three membered ring in future is put forward.
