以江西省泸溪河国家级水产种质资源保护区的大鳍鱯为材料，对其形态以及体肾与头肾结构进行观察，结果显示：大鳍鱯的体肾与头肾分离，头肾仅由两侧主静脉与体肾相连；体肾位于体腔背部紧贴于鳔与脊椎骨，腹面观类似于三角形，背面呈现“丫”字形，主要由肾小球、肾小囊、肾小管、集合管、泌尿管组成，肾实质内有许多毛细血管；头肾背面紧贴于鳔，腹面与消化系统紧挨着，分左右两瓣，组织内无肾单位，含有大量的淋巴细胞和粒细胞，它们主要在窦状隙以及静脉的周边聚集，形成一个大的淋巴细胞聚集区，HE 染色呈现蓝紫色。其中淋巴细胞约占58％，单核细胞最少约占1．5％，浆细胞较少，约为2．5％，粒细胞的数量仅次于淋巴细胞，约占38％，头肾内还伴有丰富的血管，是主要的免疫器官，同时还兼具造血功能。

Mystus macropterus were sampled from the National Aquatic Germplasm Resources Conservation Area,which locates in Luxi River of Yingtan,Jiangxi province.In order to investigate the function of head-kidney and renal,we observed morphology and microstructure.The results showed that the renal was con-nected to the head-kidney with veins on both sides.The shape of the renal,which located in the coelom near the maw and spondyle,looked like a triangle from the view of norma ventralis and seems as'丫'on the sight of the back.The renal consisted of glomerulus,renal capsules,uriniferous tubules,collecting tubules.There were also many capillaries in the renal parenchyma.The head-kidney could be divided into two flaps and had no renal units in parenchyma.The back of the head-kidney was next to the bladder and the ventral close to the digestive systems.We found lots of lymphocytes and neutrophils gathered in sinusoids around the renal vein,form a large aggregation area of lymphocyte,which was dyed into purple by HE.The rates of lymphocyte,granulocytesis,plasmacyte and monocyte were about 58%,38%,2.5% and 1.5% respec-tively.The tissue of the head-kidney,which had many blood vessels,was the main immune organ and played an important role in hematopoiesis.
