在当下高校大规模招生的背景下，艺术设计专业成为众多考生选择的目标，成为所谓的热门专业。针对这种不合规律的社会现象，本文意图对影响新生的专业选择因素以及背后的动机加以研究。通过运用可靠的调查方式，设置与他们专业选择相关的问题，然后再对获得的结果加以分析和总结，从而得出一定的结果。其意义在于通过诸如此类的调查，能够帮助教师了解到学生的学习目的乃至内部动机，从而对实施教学做出帮助。

Under the current background of large-scale enroll-ment of universities, the major of artistic design has become a choice and hot major for many examinees. In view of the abnor-mal social phenomenon, this paper intends to study the factors influencing freshmen's major selection and their hidden motiva-tions. With reliable way of investigation, we designed the ques-tions related to their major selection, analyzed and summarized the result, and came to certain conclusions. The aim is to help teachers learn about students' learning objectives and internal motivations and help teaching by means of such investigations.
