The overall planning of industrial injury insurance in provincial level has been initiated in 2014 in Guizhou. After one year practice, the effect of increased ability in fund-aid and improved level in management and service has been achieved. However, certain problems, such as reduced responsibility in local departments, and a lack of related incentive and restrictive mechanism, have also occurred. Therefore, an optimal management measure and increased responsibility for local departments is still needed.
