在全球化的背景下,公务员具备用英语进行跨文化交际的能力十分重要。通过本次公务员英语培训需求的调查及分析,发现要提高公务员英语培训的有效性,应重视公务员群体心理情感因素的特殊性,并通过多种手段激发公务员的学习动机、调节其焦虑水平等,使英语培训取得良好效果。

Under the background of globalization, cross-cultural awareness has become more and more important for civil servants. A survey was conducted on civil servants' desire on English training, which has found out that special attention shall be paid to the affective factors of civil servants such as motivation and anxiety, which are somewhat different from that of other learning groups. After analyzing the affective factors of civil servants, this paper has come up with specific measures on how to stimulate civil servants' English learning motivation and adjust their level of anxiety, by which the effectiveness of civil service English Training shall be enhanced.
