病案所记载内容不可避免会涉及到患者的隐私，随着社会的不断发展，保护隐私权的问题越来越受到患者及家属的重视，而在现行的医疗病案管理中存在着泄露患者隐私的违法事件，文章列举了日常工作中发生的泄露患者隐私的几种情况，就如何保护患者隐私权进行了浅析，提出在国家层面上应该健全法律法规，制定专门的“隐私权法”，在医院的具体工作中，应该不断完善病案管理相关制度，努力提高医护人员职业道德水准，依法依规的管理病案利用病案，才能更好的保护患者隐私。
