本文以NSSE-China等为工具,综合过去几年W校学习性投入的问卷调查和全国各类院校的数据,运用因子分析,距离判别等方法,对该校学生近几年的学习情况进行了纵向比较,将W校与国内其他院校在各个学习指标上进行横向比较,以便衡量W 高校在全国的位置,通过各种有效学习活动的程度来衡量大学教学质量,进行数据挖掘,得出一些科学结论,并进一步为W校培养优秀人才提出具体合理的建议。

This article uses NSSE-China ,collect W university's questionnaire survey data about investment of study as well as other domestic colleges 'over the past several years, initially discuss about students' learning situa-tion, then compare the difference in various indicators between W university and other colleges though some statistic methods such as factor analysis and distance discriminant analysis. We established a statistical model to located the position of W university. Furthermore to get some interesting conclusions, we weighed the quality of University educa-tion by measuring the degree of effective learning activities and carried out meaningful data mining. Finally we put forward some reasonable suggestions for W university.
