This paper analyzes the characteristic of the course of Operations research and optimization and the students in Information and computing sciences and then proposes some problems that exist in the education of Op-erations research and optimization course. Finally, according to the author's practical experience, several concrete measures of teaching reform for the Operations research and optimization course were proposed.
