在现代高等教育中，学期制改革在高校中逐渐展开，很多高校开始着手进行三学期制的改革。目前，许多高校还处于三学期制改革的摸索阶段，没有成熟的经验和实例可以借鉴，所以文章主要以辽宁对外经贸学院小学期制改革的体会来谈谈高等院校以专业应用为导向的小学期计算机课程改革方案，使计算机课程能够更好地为专业服务，为学院培养应用型人才奠定基础。
