真核翻译起始因子(EIFs)是一类参与真核细胞蛋白质翻译起始过程并发挥不同作用的蛋白质。其家族成员大约有20余种,近年来研究发现,EIF 家族除了参与真核细胞蛋白质翻译起始进程外,其中多数成员在多种肿瘤细胞中存在过度表达或低表达,其表达量的异常与恶性肿瘤的发生、演化、预后关系及研究进展较为密切。

Eukaryotic translation initiation factors is a group of proteins involved in the initiation phase of eukaryotic translation and play different roles. There are about 20 family members in Eukaryotic translation initiation factors. Re-cently,it was revealed that EIFs are involved in in the initiation the phase of eukaryotic translation but also a majority of their members is overexpressed or underexpressed in many tumor cells. And its abnormal expression was closely as-sociated with the occurrence,evolution,prognosis and research progress of malignant tumor.
