针对传统电子染色方法可控性差、经验性强的弱点,提出了一种无需染色的“负像法”作为表征聚丙烯酸酯类胶乳的TEM 方法。该方法首先将稀释后的胶乳溶液在铜网上进行常规的滴液制样,然后利用聚丙烯酸酯类聚合物热黏、冷脆的结构特性,对载样铜网在40℃下进行短时烘烤后直接进行电镜观测。研究结果表明,以适度烘烤样品为基础的“负像法”具有衬度高、边界清晰、核壳结构可辨的观测优势,且样品后处理简单,制样灵活,浓度依赖性低,可以方便、快捷地表征聚丙烯酸酯类胶乳的形貌和结构,并为相关体系的电镜研究提供参考和借鉴。在满足低热输入、短时烘烤和倾斜加热等条件的前提下,该方法同样适用于其他含有低玻璃化转变温度组分的核壳结构纳米微粒的电镜观测。
針對傳統電子染色方法可控性差、經驗性彊的弱點,提齣瞭一種無需染色的“負像法”作為錶徵聚丙烯痠酯類膠乳的TEM 方法。該方法首先將稀釋後的膠乳溶液在銅網上進行常規的滴液製樣,然後利用聚丙烯痠酯類聚閤物熱黏、冷脆的結構特性,對載樣銅網在40℃下進行短時烘烤後直接進行電鏡觀測。研究結果錶明,以適度烘烤樣品為基礎的“負像法”具有襯度高、邊界清晰、覈殼結構可辨的觀測優勢,且樣品後處理簡單,製樣靈活,濃度依賴性低,可以方便、快捷地錶徵聚丙烯痠酯類膠乳的形貌和結構,併為相關體繫的電鏡研究提供參攷和藉鑒。在滿足低熱輸入、短時烘烤和傾斜加熱等條件的前提下,該方法同樣適用于其他含有低玻璃化轉變溫度組分的覈殼結構納米微粒的電鏡觀測。

A novel “negative image”method was proposed for microscopic characterization on polyacrylate latex particles with transmission electron microscope (TEM)based on the structural characteristic of “sticky when heated and fragile when cooled”for polyacrylate.After being dropped onto carbon-coated copper grids and naturally dried,the samples of latex particles were heated at 40 ℃ for certain time before direct TEM observation.This “negative image”method possesses the virtues of flexible sample preparation,simplified post treatment,low dependence on concentration,and especially no need of electron staining. TEM photographs obtained by this method have the advantages of high contrast,distinct boundaries and discernible core-shell structures.Accordingly,the “negative image”method is able to take the place of traditional electron staining and serves as a qual-ified solution to quickly and conveniently characterize polyacrylate latex.If the prerequisites of low heat input,short-time heating and tilting incident illumination are met,this method could also be applied to similar systems with components of low glass transi-tion temperatures,where the crosslinking of the outer shell of latex particles are required if necessary.
