Objective To investigate the clinical effect of massage and traction point pressing restoration in treating lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods One hundred and twenty patients with LDH were randomly divided into observation group and con-trol group. All patients were treated with conventional medication and traction treatment, but massage and traction point pressing resto-ration were only given to the patients in the observation group. Results The total response rate of the observation group was 95.00%, higher than that that of control group, which was only 83.33%(P <0.05 ).The difference in VASs before the treatment between the two groups had no statistical significance (P >0.05 ),while after treatment,VASs of the patients in both groups were significantly re-duced (P <0.01 ),and VASs of patients in the observation group were lower than those in control group(P <0.01 ).Conclusion Massage and traction point pressing restoration are effective in treating LDH,which can help improve curative effects and relieve pains in the patient's back and legs.
