Job evaluation is systematic process to deifne the value of each position. It is the key step in the post management. Analyzing the methods and effects of the nursing job evaluation is beneifcial in establishment of a scientiifc nursing job evaluation system in China. This article reviewed the generation and development, methods, application and research status, shortage and prospects of nursing job evaluation, in order to provide basis for further study of the nursing job evaluation.
