河北省文安县处于环渤海经济圈核心区域，地理位置重要、交通便利，是华北平原上人均土地资源最多的地区。汉初设县，现在境内有唐朝以后的文物古迹多处，有武术、音乐方面的非物质文化遗产。当代已经和计划建设的旅游资源有田园、森林、马术、水上运动、温泉等，有红色电影博物馆，有古洼春酒、苏桥熏鱼、狄家糕点等特色美食。文安旅游业的存在问题是缺少知名品牌、产业化不足。发展旅游业需要积极主动地利用京津冀协同发展的战略机遇，选准定位扬长避短，以提高竞争力为核心，让各种资源在文安舞台上自由施展。
