采用双辉等离子渗金属技术在 TC21钛合金表面制备了渗 Cr 层。采用 SEM、EDS、显微硬度仪等研究了渗 Cr 层的组织形貌及硬度,并采用摩擦磨损试验机研究了合金的渗 Cr 层和基体的摩擦磨损性能,分析了磨损机制。结果表明,TC21合金的渗 Cr 层致密无孔洞和裂纹,且与基体结合良好。沉积层厚度约为20μm,扩散层厚度约为15μm。渗 Cr 层表面硬度约为1000 HV0.1,由表及里逐渐降低。渗 Cr 层的平均摩擦因数降低至0.2左右,比磨损率也仅为基体的1/14,减摩和耐磨性能均明显优于基体。基体的磨损机制主要是剥层磨损、粘着磨损和氧化磨损,而渗 Cr 层的磨损机制是磨粒磨损和氧化磨损。

Chromized layer was prepared on TC21 alloy by using a double glow plasma surface alloying technology, and then microstructural was subjected to survey and hardness measurements using SEM,EDS and hardness tester. The fretting wear characteristics and wear mechanism of both the chromized layer and the matrix were explored with the use of fretting wear tester.The results show that the chromized layer of TC21 alloy is dense and free of both crack and void,and well bonded to the matrix.The deposition layer and the diffusion layer were as thick as about 20 μm and about 15 μm,respectively.The hardness of the chromized layer,at the surface,is about 1000 HV0.1, decreasing gradually from the surface to the inner.The mean friction coefficient of the chromized layer is as low as around 0.2,and its specific wear rate is 1 /14 that of the matrix,the chromized layer being significantly superior to the matrix in wear resistance.Main wear mechanism of the matrix is delamination abrasion,adhesive abrasion and oxidation abrasion,whereas wear mechanism of the chromized layer is abrasive abrasion and oxidation abrasion.
