In order to improve the utilization rate of monomer, recovered butadiene is always dehydrated by sedimentation,and then it is mixed with fresh butadiene to reach the target concentration for the polymerization reaction. In this paper, during monomer storage and blending in styrene butadiene rubber device, the purity of recycled butadiene was estimated based on liquid level measurement difference of radar level gauge and differential pressure type level gauge measurement, which could greatly reduce the measurement error and improve production efficiency.
