粤糖04-245是以粤糖94-128为母本、粤糖93-159为父本通过有性杂交选育出来的甘蔗新品种。该品种具有高糖高产、早熟、抗逆性强、适应性广、农艺性状优良的特性。遗传组成分析结果表明，粤糖04-245细胞质源为班扎马新黑潭(Bandjarmasin Hitam)，遗传组成源丰富，包括17种不同的基础种质。多年多点试验结果表明，粤糖04-245蔗茎产量为101115 kg/hm2，分别比对照ROC10、ROC16和ROC22增产28%、30%和7%；11～1月份平均蔗糖分为16.03%，蔗糖量为16215 kg/hm2，分别比对照ROC10、ROC16和ROC22增糖40%、39%和15%。

월당04-245시이월당94-128위모본、월당93-159위부본통과유성잡교선육출래적감자신품충。해품충구유고당고산、조숙、항역성강、괄응성엄、농예성상우량적특성。유전조성분석결과표명，월당04-245세포질원위반찰마신흑담(Bandjarmasin Hitam)，유전조성원봉부，포괄17충불동적기출충질。다년다점시험결과표명，월당04-245자경산량위101115 kg/hm2，분별비대조ROC10、ROC16화ROC22증산28%、30%화7%；11～1월빈평균자당분위16.03%，자당량위16215 kg/hm2，분별비대조ROC10、ROC16화ROC22증당40%、39%화15%。
Yuetang04-245 was selected from the cross combination Yuetang94-128 ×Yuetang93-159. This new sugarcane variety had the desirable characteristics of high sucrose content, high yield, early maturity, strong adversity resistance, wide adaptability and excellent agronomic characters. Pedigree of Yuetang04-245 variety were analyzed and showed that the source of cytoplasm for the variety was Bandjarmasin Hitam and the sources of heredity were from 17 kinds of basal germplasm. The results obtained from cultivation at various sites for several years showed that its mean yield was 101115 kg/hm2. The yield was 28%, 30% and 7% higher than that of ROC10, ROC16 and ROC22, respectively. Sucrose content of the cane (absolute value) in November to January was 16.03%. The sugar yield was 16215 kg/hm2, which was 40%, 39% and 15% higher than that of ROC10, ROC16 and ROC22, respectively.
