After the system for monitoring rational use of drugs and its model establishment were described , its fol-lowing functions were stressed, such as drug allergic history prompting function, drug interaction prompting func-tion, drug dosage and medication prompting function, contraindication prompting function for drugs and diseases, and drug adverse effect prompting function.The authors hoped to improve the healthcare and protect the health and safety of patients by monitoring the use of drugs in clinical practice with computer programs.
