通过实地调查培正中学校园绿化植物种类、频度以及配置形式，共记录了维管植物84科161属194种。其中校园绿化用园林植物60科123种，依据景观应用分类统计得出：乔木47种，占总数38%；灌木50种，占41%；地被植物26种，占21%。总结得出：培正中学校园植物景观具有物种丰富、植物景观丰富、造景形式新颖等特点。

The campus landscape construction of Pui Ching Middle School as one of the famous oldest schools in Guangzhou city is representative. Based on the field investigation of the plant species,frequency and configuration of campus landscaping in Pui Ching Middle School, a total amount of 194 vascular plants belonging to 84 families and 161 genera were recorded, 123 landscape plants belonging to 60 families (not including the biological garden plants ) were applied to campus greening. by undertaking classified statistical method that the tree applied in campus has 47 species, accounting for 38% of the total; shrub has 50 species, accounting for 41%; herb has 26, accounting for 21%. On the basis of plant application characteristics summarized in Pui Ching middle school ,campus plants landscape has the following features:(1) Richness in species, with typical lingnan plant landscape characteristics (2) Richness in plants landscape, landscape forms were novel, (3) Landscape styles different in each function, reflected the campus culture, (4) Large tree landscapes revealed the campus historical sense.
