The reasonable location and number of gate in injection mould play an important role in the plastic product design .Take automobile wire slot parts as an example ,different process parameters like fill time , maximum injection pressure , weld lines and cavitation were simulated and studied using Moldflow .As a result ,the best gate location and number to obtain a high quality of products were determined .This method can reduce production costs and shorten the product development cycle .
