The processes of carbodiimide?modified MDI and the environmental problems caused by the excee?ded VOC of the downstream products were reviewed. The two kinds of new processes of producing environment?friendly carbodiimide?modified MDI by tributyl phosphate catalytic process or thin?film evaporation post?process were introduced. The effect of catalytic temperature, catalyst dosage and the operating parameters of thin?film evap?orator on products was researched. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of new processes were compared. The industrialization of processes was prospected.
