The umbrella roof of smoke capturing hood form cannot satisfy the requirements of the capture rate of spheroidization in the condition of smoke occurrence point forward leading,and the smoke capturing rate is low. Here with the 1T and 5T intermediate frequency furnace dust removal engineering of Lanzhou LS casting company as an example, three kinds of effec-tive measures to improve the smoke capturing rate of umbrella roof suction hood are introduced, so as to meet the environmen-tal requirements.
