With the constant promotion and application of high-tech information technology,the design level of the path of the overhead transmission line is becoming more and more advanced,which become an important guarantee to improve the safety of power transmission continuously.This paper made comprehensive analysis on the selection process of line,line selection methods, tower selection and path selection,so as to effectively ensure the scientificity and rationality of the design on overhead transmission line path.
