The existing crude Kr-Xe extraction system in the 30000 m3/h oxygen gener-ator of MaSteel had not been put into use for 10 years since the operation startup of the generating unit. In order to improve the economic performance, the Kr-Xe extraction system was put into operation after simple transformation. The content and operation commissioning of the transformation project are introduced and problems needing attention in operation adjust-ment are also summarized.
