以位于陕南秦巴山地的宁强县为研究对象,利用宁强县1990年、2000年和2010年的TM遥感图像,运用基于归一化植被指数的像元二分模型法,提取并分析了宁强县近20年来植被覆盖度的时空动态变化特征.结果表明:宁强县近20年来植被覆盖整体较好,均大于78%,且植被覆盖度整体略有上升;近20年来,宁强县植被覆盖经历退化和恢复两个时期.1990—2000年,为宁强县植被覆盖退化期,近一半乡镇植被覆盖度出现不同程度降低;2000—2010年,为宁强县植被覆盖恢复期,各覆盖度等级面积以增加为主;2010年宁强县仍有11个乡镇植被覆盖度较1990年有所降低,今后应继续加强植被恢复、保护和建设,保障南水北调中线水源地生态环境的质量.

Vegetation coverage, as a visual quantitative vegetation indicator, has great significance for hydrology, ecology and global change, etc.In this study, taking the Ningqiang County as the research object andthe TM remote images in 1990 , 2000 and 2010 as the basic data sources, we have extracted and analyzed the spatial and temporal dynamic changes of vegetation coverage in the Ningqiang County in the last 20 years.The results show that:1) During the last 20 years, the vegetation coverage of Ningqiang County has been lar-ger than 78%, and it was slightly higher in 2010 than in 1990 .2 ) the vegetation coverage of the Ningqiang County has experienced the degradation and recovery periods during the last 20 years.Between 1990 and 2000, it was the degradation period with the vegetation coverage in nearly half of the townships decreasing.between 2000 and 2010, it was the recovery period with the area of every level of coverage ranks increasing.3) The vegetation coverage of 11 townships in 2010 was still smaller than that in 1990.Therefore, great efforts should be furthered in the vegetation restoration, protection and construction in the future, so as to guarantee the quality of the ecological environment of the water source of south-to-north water diversion project.
