提出了一种基于有限相量测量单元(PMU)的广域后备保护算法。它采用最小二乘法得到一个区域内各节点的电压估计值,利用这些电压估计值计算出本区域内每条线路的电流估计值,获得各线路电流实际值与估计值的残差值,进行排序,将电流残差值最大的两条线路列为疑似故障线路。利用多组 PMU 的电压故障分量,计算出疑似故障线路的多组线路故障点位置。利用故障点位置位于[0,1]之间等特性,给出了线路故障的判据。在 IEEE 14节点系统上的仿真实验结果表明,所提出的算法能够准确判断出故障线路,不受故障点位置、故障类型的影响。

A wide-area backup protection algorithm based on the limited phasor measurement units (PMUs) is studied.With one-bus spaced placement strategy for distributed PMUs,the bus voltage values of regional nodes are estimated by the least squares estimation method,and then the estimated line current values are calculated by estimated voltage values.After sorting the residuals of measured and estimated current values,the two lines with largest estimated values are taken as the suspected fault lines.The fault lines are determined by calculating multiple fault locations of suspected fault lines with the multiple groups of voltage fault components.Using the characteristics of fault locations lying between [0,1],the three kinds of line fault criterions are given.The simulation results on an IEEE 14-bus testing system illustrate that the proposed algorithm can accurately determine the fault lines and is not influenced by fault location and fault types.
