Due to the special historical background,Dalian undertook the historical mission of special liberation zone in the four years since it was liberated in August 1945. Looking back into the history of this period,we can more deeply understand the spiritual outlook and the sense of responsibility of Chinese communists striving hard in a special environment. The Dalian"special liberation zone"made special contributions to the liberation of the country,provided valuable experiences for the urban management and construction of the new China,embod-ied Chinese communists'wisdom and abilities,and exhibited the Chinese nation's spirit and will of never giving up.
