The buried depth of the diversion tunnel of Yangqu Hydropower Station is shallow, where the geological conditions are poor. The tunnel section is large, an prone to collapse in excavation. On the basis of analyzing the construction difficulties, the construction technology of double-row leading pipe-shed and first lining arch then wall were used and the supporting pa-rameters and construction procedures were optimized by combining with the similar engineering collapse treatment experience, so that the treatment of tunnel collapse in Yangqu Hydropower Station is completed smoothly and the flow-passing of the diversion tunnel is on schedule. The technical measures can provide reference for collapse treatment of similar projects.
