The integration of three types of networks will eliminate the industry monopoly and bring about fair competition to the market in an all-round way,which inevitably leads to that the CATV industry faces the turn-ing point of booming again or going to the decline.If CATV companies expect to gain a larger market share in the course of competition,they should clearly realize the current situation,and reform the disadvantages,and generate appropriate development strategies.If they have finished these things,they could accomplish the transformation and upgrading during the final window period.From the perspective of practice,this article points out that in the current CATV companies should plan these workings,including changing the mode of management and operation,brand building,network construction,and the maximum utilization of network re-sources.
