新媒体技术是基于数字化、网络化的媒体传播技术,具有便捷即时性、传播互动性、集成多元性,开放大众性等特征。它能更好地与大学英语听说教学的工具依赖性产生契合,不仅弥补以往技术手段导致的不足,而且使教学呈现交互性,控制信息冗余度,更能拓展教学时空,丰富教学信息。新媒体技术在大学英语听说教学中的应用应着重于四个方面:第一,采用交互模式与讲授模式相结合的混合教学模式;第二,把握教学信息冗余与丰富之间的平衡;第三,拓展教学时空范围;第四,突出学生认知结构的建立。这样,能使新媒体技术在大学英语听说教学的应用更加尊重语言学习活动的客观规律,达到更好的效果,也更具创造性。

New media technology is based on digital and network media and communication technology, featured with convenient and real-time communication, interactive dissemination, integration of multiple elements and diversity, openness and popularity. It tallies with such dependence on relevant techniques and tools of college English listening and speaking teaching that it not only makes up for the shortage of the previous technical means, but embodies the teaching process with interactivity, controls informa?tion redundancy, expands the temporal and special dimension of teaching and enriches the teaching information as well. Its applica?tion in college English listening and speaking teaching should concentrate on four aspects:first, the adoption of the blended teach?ing mode, which comprises the interactive mode and the instructing mode;second, mastering of the balance between teaching infor?mation redundancy and richness;third, expanding the temporal and special dimensions of teaching;fourth, focusing on the estab?lishment of students’cognitive structure. These four points can help college English listening and speaking teaching follow the ob?jective law of language learning activities and achieve better results in a more creative way as well.
