The paper mainly introduces the calculation principle and steps for the scattering method and square mesh method,explores the design elevation in the calculation of field engineering by adopting the area weighting,adopts the two methods to calculation the field engineering earth-work volume in the intervals of various samples by selecting the selected fields,and compares and analyzes the accuracy and application of the two methods based on the errors and related errors in the calculation,so as to provide some theoretic reference for the decision-making in the practice.
