Selecting Minsheng Square in Nanning as the object for the landscape space research of urban squares based on the psychological be-havior demands,the paper analyzes and researches the crowd distribution and their behaviors during the peak of crowd flows by the action obser-vation method,and concludes people’s psychological demands for the square landscape space,so as to point out the reconstruction strategies for the design of the landscape space at the square.
