Based on the extensive investigation ,the author synthesizes all suggestions and put forward 6 kinds of technical measures of reducing the rest time of railway freight wagon .These measures are evaluated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) .Also the author determines the important degree of them and selectes some which are economic ,reasonable and complies with the railway development tendency .
