Based on the six-level power station along Nan’ou Power Station,the paper undertakes the comparative selection for all kinds of dam types rock fill dams( compound geomembrane facing slab,concrete slab rock fill dam asphalt concrete core-wall rock fill dam,clay core-wall rock fill dam and geomembrane facing slab)and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these dam types,so as to select the suitable one accord-ing to its geological conditions.
