对膨体聚四氟乙烯(ePTFE)密封垫片的主要性能进行了试验研究,分析了厚度对性能的影响规律,并探讨了ePTFE 的蠕变行为与密封性能的关系。结果表明:由于 ePTFE 内部膜界面的影响,最大拉伸强度、蠕变性能和密封性能都受材料厚度的显著影响;ePTFE 垫片的泄漏方式以界面泄漏为主,本体渗漏仅占10%左右;基于蠕变和泄漏率的关系,发现特征松弛时间τ可以作为评价 ePTFE 密封性能的一个重要参数。

The main performance of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE)gasket was studied by experiment.The effect of thickness on performance is analyzed and the relationship between creep performance and sealing performance is investigated.The results indicate that ultimate tensile stress,creep performance and sealing performance are significantly affected by the material thickness due to the impact of ePTFE membrane interface.The main leak way of ePTFE gasket is interface leak and only about 10 percent of leak is penetration leak.Based on the relationship between creep and leak rate,the characteristic relaxation time τcan be used as an sealing performance evaluation parameter of ePTFE.
