This paper developed a set of transmission line charged extra pin tool, through the insulation lever special tool installed on one side of the addition of peg, to solve the lack of transmission lines pin failure. Proven by simulation experiment and the actual line operation, the tool can avoid power operation, at the same time greatly shorten the operation time, improve work efficiency, reduce the safety risk, can be applied in the charged extra pin assignments.
