无穷会本《水浒传》在《水浒传》版本的演变过程中扮演着承前启后的重要角色，上承天都外臣序本、容与堂本，下开大涤余人序本、袁无涯本。通过对无穷会本《水浒传》批语、插图、回目的研究，可得出这样的结论：大涤余人序本、袁无涯本的底本为无穷会本；无穷会本的刊刻时间晚于天都外臣序本、容与堂本、钟伯敬本（或它们的底本），而其底本可能是天都外臣序本或者与天本接近的本子；无穷会本的插图所袭用的是容与堂本的插图，而现今所存国家图书馆藏容与堂本的插图并非是初版完整的插图。

The Wuqionghui edition ofOutlaws of the Marsh has been playing an important role in the evolution of the past versions ofOutlaws of the Marsh, with the Tianduwaichen edition and Rongyutang edition as its predecessors, and the Dadiyuren edition and the Yuanwuya edition as successors. Study of the comments, illustrations, chapters of the Wuqionghui edition shows that the former two editions are based on the Wuqionghui edition, which was printed after the Tianduwaichen edition, Rongyutang edition and the Zhongbojing edition. Its basis may be the Tianduwaichen edition or an edition closely related to it. The illustrations of the Wuqionghui edition are copied from the Rongyutang edition, and the Rongyutang edition housed in the National Library does not contain all the original illustrations.
