《二老堂诗话》是南宋著名政治家、文学家周必大关于诗人逸闻趣事、诗文用字、版本的考论性著作，自开禧刻本之后，被不断传抄、刻印。从流传方式看，目前存在的版本有全集本、单行本之别。通过对现存诸版本的对比校勘，可大致梳理出两大系统：一是大典本、澹生堂本、四库全集本、欧阳棨本一系；二是津逮本、四库单行本、何文焕《历代诗话本》一系。这些版本文字歧异较多，亟待参合众本、汇校出一个可供学术研究的善本。
《이로당시화》시남송저명정치가、문학가주필대관우시인일문취사、시문용자、판본적고론성저작，자개희각본지후，피불단전초、각인。종류전방식간，목전존재적판본유전집본、단행본지별。통과대현존제판본적대비교감，가대치소리출량대계통：일시대전본、담생당본、사고전집본、구양계본일계；이시진체본、사고단행본、하문환《역대시화본》일계。저사판본문자기이교다，극대삼합음본、회교출일개가공학술연구적선본。
Poetic Talks of Erlaotang is a book written by Zhou Bida, a famous politician and writer of the Southern Song Dynasty, consisting of poets' anecdotes, diction in poetry and studies of different versions. Findings show that this book exists in two forms now: complete volumes and single volumes. All these volumes can be classiifed into three categories, represented by different editions. Those editions are so full of disparities that a summarized version is needed for the sake of academic research.
