The sandy soil foundation can't be used as natural foundation support layer of the building for its low bearing capacity. Combining engineering example of a purification plant of ChangQing Gas Field, the technology and economy of several common foundation treatment methods are analyzed and compared. The most appropriate sandy soil foundation treatment method for this project is selected.
