毛泽东是具有鲜明的浪漫主义精神气质和审美倾向的政治家和诗人。他的精神气质和审美倾向源于湘楚山水及其文化传统的熏陶，源于以屈原、李白为代表的中国浪漫主义诗人诗作的阅读影响。他在浪漫主义精神气质作用下拆除了审美浪漫主义和政治浪漫主义的界限，并借助浪漫主义审美力量开展社会政治实践，在强力推进理想主义发展蓝图过程中出现了偏差，却改变了五六十年代浪漫主义的尴尬处境，助推了浪漫主义向着革命政治层面急速发展。

Mao Zedong is a politician and poet with distinct romantic spiritual temperament and aesthetic tendency. His spiritual temperament and aesthetic tendency were nurtured by the landscape of Hunan and Hubei provinces and their cultural tradition,derived from the reading impact of the representative Chi-nese romantic poets as Li Bai and Qu Yuan. Effected by his spiritual temperament,he dismantled the boundaries between aesthetic romanticism and political romanticism,and carried out his social and politi-cal practice with the help of the romantic aesthetic force. He therefore got rid of the embarrassing situa-tion of romanticism during the 50s and the 60s of the last century,boosting the rapid development of ro-manticism towards a revolutionary level of politics,no matter what historic disaster was brought about dur-ing the process to push forward the ideal blueprint of development.
