Although there are rich cultural collections in library, at present national reading has been facing the problems of reading crisis and decreasing reading rate. Therefore, library should walk into readers, adopt effective methods including holding rostrum, lecture, book review and essay writing competition and pushing library technology developmont in order to promote national reading, making citizens enjoy reading and enriching citizens spirtual and cultural life.
